My recent appointment to the TARA Hospital Board has brought my interest in public healthcare to full fruition. It is also shocking to learn that “30% of the Lower-Middle-Class of our society live in debt and therefore suffer largely from mental related illness such as depression and so forth. The statistics increases when moving to the Higher-Middle-Class right through to the Upper-Middle-Class. Yet, most of us are fighting for a position in the most depressed segment of our society – Its BIZAR! Trust me, I’m not discouraging anyone from entering the higher LSM’s, but the truth is… ENTRANCE ALONE DOES NOT GUARANTEE YOU HAPPINESS” –Uyanda Mbuli--

Uyanda arrives at the 2008 South African Music Awards wearing her clothing label called Diamond Face Couture - 'DFC'. The label will be shown at The Sanlam SA Fashion Week in August 2008; this will be followed by the first DFC Boutique Store Openning in the north of Johannesburg after the Fashion Week. Uyanda enjoy various fashion shows at Jo'burg Fashion Week. She saw Thula Sindi, Fundudzi, Malcom Kluk, Stone Cherry, David Tlale & Gavin Rajar.

Uyanda arrives at the Stars of Mzansi Awards where she presented the best actress award to the late Ashley Callie. She was voted the best dress by a number of publications including YOU & Huisgenooit, Heat, City Press & SundayWorld.
