How to get Ready for the Red Carpet:
-
Start your day by feeding 'Your Mind & Soul' - You need to look forward to the event with a peace of mind. Should anything happen to your outfit, hair stylist etc. You need to have started your day with a sound mind. Prayer helps ahead of a big night or day!
-
Take a long walk, jog or a light work-out to prepare your body as well.
-
Going on the Red Carpet with under arm hair and hairy legs is a fashion disaster! Shave or wax. For the advanced class: you should shave your arms as well. You can do this at home but if you can afford it - beauty salons offer this service as well.
-
Polish your skin by using a body smoothing and polishing bath or shower gel. Body firming creams also lifts up the skin, nicely. If you can afford ask for a sliming Treatment at a beauty salon.
-
A facial and full body massage helps to bring the 'star light'. The facial should include shaving your mustache and twizing your eye brows. For the advance class eye lash extensions and high lighting your eye brows.
-
Then you need a manicure & pedicure. Don't make your nails too log if you put tips; the shorter the more royalty. Colors don't really matter - don't paint colors you can't carry; Red is not for everyone while French is for all.
-
Hair is just like shades 'The bigger the better' - avoid flat weaves! Styles differ from on person to the next but NEVER leave the salon with a hair style you are half happy with on your Red Carpet day!!!
-
Make-up can either make or break your entire look. Always stick to classy make up - Get the highest rated make-up artist in your area. NEVER compromise on your make up. For the advanced class: don't forget body make-up for your arm and legs and minimum body glitter! Don't wear this if you are not on the advanced class because you'll mess up your outfit before going out.
-
You need people to help you dress on your Red Carpet day, even if its one friend or your sister.

The Red Carpet Outfit:
-
The Traditional Red Carpet Outfit is a Dress or top & shirt but you can do a well cut and designed pencil skirt or body hugging pants suit. Don't compromise on CLASS.
-
The Shoes should be the highest heel you can wear. Don't wear an expensive dress with cheap shoes. Your shoes and bag should always cost more than the outfit. YandaWorld recommends a 6 inch heel but if yours is 3 inch, its still fine but the highest you can wear is always better. Remember this is not a normal night out it's the best night of your life!
-
The bag - No big bags on the Red Carpet. Big Bags are for going out, shopping and everywhere else BUT not on the Red Carpet.
-
Accessories are a must!!!!
