My Diary:

Uyanda acknowledges that God has been good to her & blessed her with a family she is proud of, "I'm forever grateful I have a husband like 'My Sisa' - I thank God!"

Last week I spent time counting my blessings one by one and there were two very special moments that brought tears of joy to my eyes:- My wedding day to a man I love dearly & the birth of my lovely son. These moments will always make me feel like God is giving me a special hug! I'm sure you have moments like that - Always remain grateful that you have them!

"There is nothing more wonderful for a mother than to see your child grow into his own, with his own personality. Landa made his first fashion shoot spread before even turning four years old. Mine took seventeen years! I'm so proud - I couldn't have received a better Mother's Day present".

'Because YOU ARE WORTH IT is a priceless reassurance and constant reminder that we should not settle for less in our perception of ourselves'.
-Orla Healy-

We have to spend time getting to know ourselves - ourself worth & how far our confidence can take us. I'm constantly looking for opportunities to grow, to learn, to give, to share, to empower and to be empowered. What are you doing? Never find yourself sitting back and pointing fingers at others; that's the lower level of action! BE PART OF THE MOVERS & SHAKERS.

Most people assume that they have to down play their unique abilities and special talents because someone out there is better than them. What they forget is, 'There will always be someone smarter, younger, more beautiful, and more talented out there; all you need to do is to focus on developing and celebrating your own skills!' There will always be something bigger, faster and more advanced than what you have or know - Enjoy, appreciate, celebrate and make the most of what you have!

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” -Marianne Williamson -

I never knew how beautiful the combination of a dessert and the beach can be until I went to Long Beach in Namibia! The only thing separating the two is the main road - what an amazing experience! I was most happy to experience this with the two most important men in my life, Sisa & Landa!

Within My Diary you find a few segments - Personal, Diet: Food for My Soul and Body & Business. I decided to take a few notes from each.

I am a BIG, BIG DREAMER and my biggest motivators of DREAMING BIG is GOD & MY FAMILY, because I know they are my pillar of strength and prayer keeps me on the right track.

MY BIGGEST DREAM IS TO HAVE MY OWN STAR ON 'THE HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME' ONE DAY- Just Like This One!!!!

In the book: The Alchemist, Paulo Coelho says, “We know what we want to do, but are afraid of hurting those around us by abandoning everything in order to pursue our dream, but we don’t realize that those who genuinely love us wish us well, want us to be happy and are prepared to accompany us on that journey”.

Over the past few years I have learnt that like wine – I’ve also matured with age. I’m a lot more comfortable within who I am – The Good, The Excellent, The Bad & The Ugly about me! I’m also more at ease with peoples’ praises as much as I’m comfortable with their criticism – above it all I’ve learned that what ever direction you view life from negative or positive, YOU ARE RIGHT!

This is what you find on my Diary……..
From My Personal Diary:

"Dear Lord,

Thank you for granting me BIG DREAMS and the COURAGE to pursue them as high as they are. I know challenges will come but I also know they will go and you'll still be with me. I will continue to strive to be a good example and to add value to the lives of those that I affect and influence. Amen!"

From My Eating Diary
"Dear Lord,

Thank you for giving me the strength to stick to my healthy eating plan; as I continue to strive daily to stay healthy. I also thank you for the word that I will feed my soul with today. Amen!"

From My Business Diary
"Dear Lord,

I have set goals for myself that I would like to achieve in the next few years. I would like to thank you for being part of my journey from where I've been to where I'm going. I will continue to work hard each day and pray confidently because I KNOW you are with me. Amen!"

What's on My Mind?

Watching Tsotsi yet again aboard United Airlines from New York to Los Angels on my way to Pasadena (Carlifornia), made me so proud of how far South Africa has come in the area of Film Productions. I have to say Presley deserves the awards his been winning - his perfomance was, is and will always be outstanding when you watch Tsotsi over and over!!!
