FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS AND THEIR ANSWERS:

 

Q: Where do you find your source of inspiration?

A: From within myself and the source of it is God. I also have a very supportive family and friends that serve as my pillar.

 

Q: How do you deal with negative publicity?

A: I've learned that you won't stop the media from writing stories about you whether good or bad, but it’s how I come out of that publicity that is more important. Some of these stories try to be on the humorous side; I dismiss them as a joke.

 

Q: How do you turn yourself into a Red Carpet Diva?

A: It takes Stylists, Make-up Artists, Hair Stylists and so forth, but I can wear anything from any shop because I don't ever let my clothes wear me; I always wear them.

 

Q:How do you keep your weight low?

A: I workout, eat well balanced meals and drink lots of water. I also keep an eating diary to review if I'm eating well.

 

Q: How did you get into the entertainment industry?

A: I started back in 1996 when I won Miss Cape Town. Contrary to popular belief getting here took me 10 years. I just took breaks in between to acquire a solid education.

 

Q: Do you need qualifications to get to where you are?

A: YES! I'm a business woman first before I'm anything else. I have a B.Com degree from the University of the Western Cape; a Diploma in Sales and Marketing Management & A Certificate in Project Management from RAU.

 

Q: Tell us about the things we don’t know about you?

A: If you did not find it on My Bio, then you’ll find it on My Diary & My Journey – which I’ve taken a piece of my soul and placed it there!

 

Q. In your next life you want to be what/whom?

A: What ever I come back as in my next life; I just want to fulfill God´s destiney for my life.


Q. What are your secrets to success?

A: I´m highly driven, ambitious and hard working. I also have a positive outlook towards life and challenges in general.


Q. Who inspired you or who is your role model?

A: My mother - I had the honour to understudy one of the strongest, focused and hard working women of all times!

Q. What is happiness or fulfillment?

A: To me its true satisfaction, inner peace and the momeries of special moments.


Q. How do you cope when things go wrong/ How do you face adversity?

A: With every obstracle there is an opportunity. The actual trick is to see the opportunities and pursue them when obstracles comes along.


Q. What do you want to teach your children/loved ones?

A: I´m teaching them about the power of God and how far dreams can take you if you truly believe in them!


Q. What are your goals for the next five years?

A: I want to be the best mother, wife and business women I could ever be.


Q. What qualities do you look for in an ideal partner?

A: I already have my ideal partner!


Q. What does money mean to you?

A: Money can buy a lot of things but it won´t buy love and happiness.


Q. Describe yourself in five words.

A: Strong, highly ambitious, loving, smart and gutsy


Q. What has been your luckiest break so far?

A: Meeting my husband!


Q. What do you do for your community?

A: I have started a youth development initiative where I raise funds to uplift the infrastructure of schools all over the country. I launched it in Mpumalanga in partnership with the Mpumalanga Youth Commission.


Q. Word you love most and why?

A: Yandilicious! Its a word my friends and I use for things that are ´hot and stunning´.


Q. Word you hate most and why?

A: Any disrespectful and insulting word


Q. In a restaurant you normally order ....

A: Sea Food!


Q. If you were president of the country you would ...

A: Invest more in Education including giving educational subsidies to each student that can not afford.


Q. You can't live without your ...

A: God, my husband and son.


Q. On a Saturday afternoon you can be found where, doing what?

A: Hanging out with people I love.


Q. Best advice ever given to you?

A: To know where you are going you need to know where you come from.


Q. How do you treat other people?

A: I would like to believe that I treat everyone I come across with the most respect.


Q. Which sports moment of the year made the biggest impression on you?

A: When Banyana Banyana was formed!!!+


Q. What local/international news event caught your eye this year and why? Are there any lessons we can learn from this particular event?

A: Hosting the 2010 soccer world cup was a highlight for me; I´m so proud to be a South African
